Canada’s Freddie Mojallal, better known under the moniker The Autumn Portrait began performing in his home town of Vancouver, BC in 2009. Typically performing as 4-piece band, The Autumn Portrait now plays to audiences across Canada; packing venues from Vancouver to Halifax and back. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Freddie’s recent radio single is in rotation across Canada for “Welcome to the Night”, with an eye-catching music video featured on CMT Canada. Mojallal’s no stranger to CMT Canada; his previous single for “Awake” was played repeatedly on the popular network during the summer of 2011. The video for “Welcome to the Night” received so much local buzz, it was recently featured in the Vancouver Sun among top artists like The Pack A.D. & Wilco. Freddie has released an impressive six music videos all of which he co-produced, from his debut album “The Design Is Over”, which was recorded in Vancouver with local producer Tom Dobrzanski (Said the Whale, We are the City). The Autumn Portrait have recently opened for Canadian fan favourites The Trews and were showcased at Canadian Music Week the last two consecutive years. Freddie & the band have earned themselves media praise from coat to coast and helped amass a large and devoted fan base. Freddie is currently working on his highly anticipated new EP which is slated for release in the summer of 2012. This driven musician has worked hard to get where he is and will continue to do what he does best; make honest music to be shared with all his fans. This is bound to be the year of The Autumn Portrait.
